Animation Techniques Survey

Postby Piervi » Wed Nov 07, 2012 3:26 am

Hello everyone!

Let me introduce myself: I am Pier, a PhD student with a strong interest in cultural industries in general, and animation in particular. Animated movies are my personal passion, and thus I'm very excited about being part of this community. :)

I am conducting a research regarding the different animation techniques, and I would need some answers
from actual animators. The survey is very short, and will take maximum 10 minutes to complete.

Here is the link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/animationtech

If you are interested, I can also publish the results here once the survey is over.

Thank you in advance for your time and help, all the answers will be greatly appreciated! ;)

Again, thanks to everyone for the answers!!!

I still need more answers, by the way, thus every extra help is deeply appreciated!
Here is the link, again: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/animationtech

In particular, I have a shortage of answers on three techniques, namely rotoscoping, motion capture and puppet animation.

If you use or used these techniques, please, please answer the survey!

If you know someone who uses this technique, I would greatly appreciate if you can forward them the survey.

Thanks a lot, again! ;)
