I think 20 minutes poses is the way for you to go right now. I've found that's the ideal time limit for figure drawing as it involves putting down the image fast but having enough time to embellish it and work the drawing to a nice illustrative quality especially as far as making sure that the image is sound. You need to do that at this point. Longer poses. Ask the group you're with if they'd consider extended some of their poses to 10 and 20 minutes. It'll be beneficial for everyone.
