Anyone else tired of working later at night?

I've learned many in the business work well later at night, especially those in indie companies.

But in the past few years especially (I'm 39- had a nasty injury a few years ago), I've had a tougher time wanting to work after 8:30 or 9:00 PM.

Plus the work tends to get a bit sloppier if it is complex.

Just thought I'd put a personal topic out there for fellow artists. Thanks.

The union contract that the Animation Guild negotiates for its members involves a 50 hour work week. Go figure that one out. Uncompensated overtime is the norm at many union studios in LA. Artists don't make an issue of it. They may complain but they'll never do anything to change things. Long hours working in this biz are a part of the biz. Make the best of it. Good luck Jeff.
