There's a new feature documentary out called Persistence of Vision by Kevin Schreck. It's about the acclaimed, visionary animator Richard Williams. A three time Oscar winner and the man who made "Who Framed Roger Rabbit". In his three decade quest to make the greatest animated film of all time, Williams passionately toiled away on his masterpiece only to have his project torn from his hands and recut into something entirely different.

Persistence of Vision is the untold story of the greatest animated film never made, and the first time this forgotten episode in cinema history has been told in a single major work.

The film had its world premiere earlier this month at the Vancouver International Film Festival where it received sold-out screenings and very positive press.

Persistence of Vision is having its U.S. premiere at the Starz Denver Film Festival on November 3 and 4, 2012 and its East Coast premiere at this year's DOC NYC Film Festival, on Friday, November 9th, at 9:15 pm, at SVA. It will also have its European premiere at the Leeds International Film Festival on Nov. 14, 2012 with many more festivals to come in the future.

Here's a look at the trailer for Persistence of Vision.
