Storyboard Pitch Nite - Burbank - October 25 2012

Postby Charles » Mon Oct 15, 2012 9:53 am

It starts with a dream. Someone's dream. Someone's beautiful, stupid dream.

Dreamers are determined. They pitch their dreams to a million jaded executives. They work like stevedores until someone says 'yes'. What's surprising is how often the dreamer doesn't check to see if his dream will actually make a decent movie or TV show. Dreams need reality checks, and that's why we have Storyboard Pitch Nite. This group meets every month to pitch their works-in-progress to each other and experienced professionals who can help turn a dream into a real show.

Our panelists: Our Panelists: Linda Miller, Story Artist, Character Designer "Sofia The First." Rusty Mills, Animation Director "Animaniacs." Nelson Recinos, Animation Director "Pinky And The Brain."

If you have the guts to see if your dream will work with an audience, blow the cobwebs off it and and bring it to WIA/LA's next General Meeting:
