Tough times in SoCal

Last night I learned of another friend who's been working in animation for years, but has to move out of the area because of economic hardship.

In some parts of Southern California, homeowners are facing such difficulties that they are forced to live without running water and electricity. Keep in mind that here in Burbank, the power company raised its rates by 13% and then approved an 11% pay hike to their top executives and managers.
