Selected winners will attend Sundance Film Festival as part of Windrider Forum as Angelus guests.

Selected winners will also travel to Europe as part of Angelus International screenings.

What are we looking for?

The best film school/university/college films that reflect the dignity of the human person. Stories that engage the heart without the sap. Be edgy, be serious, be fun, dramatic or comedic, but above all, be original and talented. Our goal is to showcase tomorrow’s top filmmakers to the industry and beyond.

Audiences need you.

Past winners include Academy Award nominees and Sundance Jury Prize winners.

LIVE ACTION FILMMAKERS – compete for several prizes including the $5,000 Triumph of the Spirit Award, $2,500 Production Excellence or the $2,500 Fujifilm Audience Impact.

DOCUMENTARY FILMMAKERS – Past documentary jurors have included HBO Documentary directors and Academy Award nominees. Some Angelus Documentary winners have gone on to receive distribution or production deals. Really.

ANIMATION STUDENTS – Win $2,000 for your animation short. Past winners have screened at Cannes and around the world.
