Punto Y Raya Festival - the world over on Oct 1 '10Dear friends of Punto y Raya: This is to remind you that on October 1st, Punto y Raya Festival launches its 2010 U.S. tour - which comprises around 10 cities - thanks to the collaboration of the iotaCenter. The screenings will be accompanied by presentations and Q&A sessions by Nöel Palazzo (member of MAD, creators of the festival) and Larry Cuba, artist, curator and founder of the iotaCenter, and occasionally, by PyRformances by local artists. October 1st :: Hanover (USA) Dartmouth College retrospective + "the best of PyR2009" October 9th - 10th :: Buffalo (USA) BIFF | Buffalo International Film Festival retrospective + "the best of PyR2009" October 12th - 13th :: Pittsburgh (USA) CMU | Carneghie Mellon University retrospective + "the best of PyR2009" October 16th - 17th :: Dallas (USA) The Mac | McKinney Ave. Contemporary retrospective + the best of PyR2009" November 2nd :: Los Angeles (USA) Downtown Independent retrospective November 3rd :: Los Angeles (USA) Echo Park Film Center "the best of PyR2009" November 14th :: San Francisco (USA) The Exploratorium retrospective + "the best of PyR2009" November 18th :: Eugene (USA) University of Oregon retrospective November 19th :: Eugene (USA) D.I.V.A "the best of PyR2009" Punto y Raya arrives also in Greece thanks to the collaboration of the Naoussa International Film Festival. October 3rd :: Naoussa (Greece) NIFF | Naoussa International Film Festival "the best of PyR2009" And we launch our first collaboration with l'Alternativa, 17th Independent Cinema Festival in Barcelona, screening five PyR films introduced by Ana Santos (MAD's member, creators of the festival).
