A networking event to help artists and writers within LA meet is in the works.

It'll be taking place in Burbank on Sept 8 2012 from 7:30 to 10:00 pm at:

This event is for creators at all stages of their craft wanting to meet others seeking collaborators, work-for-hire or partners. It is a great networking opportunity for both writers and artists interested in independently created comic books.

In attendance will also be a managing editor for a comic book news site, to answer questions regarding promotions and publishing.

Registration is required to attend the meeting. Seating is limited to 20 artists and 20 writers. There is a $5 non-refundable registration fee.
