A concept design competition initiated by the Israeli Animation College - Israel's leading animation school, and Disney Israel.
inspired by Pixar's "Brave", sponsored by IAC, Disney Studios and Pixar animator Andrew Gordon.
In "Brave", Pixar studios created a new legendary tale, centered around a rebellious princes, and set in Scotland.
Disney Israel and the Israeli Animation College invited Israeli artists to create their own legendary tale, staring characters from any Pixar film, and set in any foreign country.
A panel of judges led by Pixar animator Andrew Gordon will select the winning works, but there is also an audience choice award, that will be decided by Facebook "Likes".

You can "Like" how many submissions as you'd like.
Rules of the competition:
Each piece must include 3 elements:
1. A character (or several characters) from an existing Pixar film (or films).
2. A legendary tale (existing or original).
3. A real foreign country.
You can use characters from any Pixar film (feature-length or short).
You can redesign the characters in your own style, or use the existing style, but you MUST NOT use existing Pixar images, drawings or renderings.
You can refer to any known legend or invent your own.
You can use any 2D or 3D software apps, or you can draw by hand.
The winning piece will be the one exhibiting the most creativity, imagination, talent and craftsmanship.
First Prize:
A special grant from Pixar animator Andrew Gordon in the sum of 2000 NIS.
A scholarship from IAC in the sum of 4000 NIS, for any of IAC's animation courses.
An original signed lithograph by Steve Pilcher of "Brave" concept art.
The book "The Art of Brave" from Disney-Pixar.
2 VIP tickets for the "Brave" Israeli premiere.
