Holland Animation Film Festival - March 28-April 1 '12

The international Holland Animation Film Festival (HAFF) moves from November to March.

The next edition is from 28 March through 1 April 2012.

The past few years the festival has been successful as an annual event and now it's time to select a better spot in the festival calendar, in the Netherlands as well as abroad.
Because of the shift there won’t be a festival in November 2011. For autumn 2011 HAFF organizes a programme in collaboration with the Netherlands Film Festival in Utrecht, from 21 through 30 September, with among others a competition for Dutch animation (audience award).

In 2010 the festival counted over 49,400 visitors, and an additional 20,000 throughout the year.

The HAFF is a five-day event for a wide audience and a meetingplace and source of inspiration for animation professionals and up-and-coming talent. The festival highlights the latest developments and new talent, shows theme programmes and retrospectives, and organizes activities like talk shows, master classes and lectures.
