The British Independent Film Festival

By independent filmmakers for independent filmmakers

The British Independent Film Festival is a festival run by independent filmmakers for independent filmmakers. Every year the festival screens simultaneously at a variety of venues across the UK (20 locations in 2013), increasing exposure for your film and giving new audiences the chance to enjoy your movie.

The Festival provides opportunities for independent filmmakers to have their films screened at great red carpet-style venues to a passionate audience of film professionals, film students, journalists and the general public.

There are a number of awards up for grabs at the Festival, including:

* Best New Screenplay
* Best Feature Film
* Best Short Film
* Best Student Film
* Best Documentary
* Best Director
* Best Actor
* Best Actress
