Fritz the Cat

Ralph Bakshi's first feature length animated film, it was big news in 1972 when it was released. The first X rated cartoon, "Fritz the Cat" for many years had the distinction of being among the top 20 money making animated features of all time well into the 1980s as I recall.

You can watch the movie in its entirety on YouTube in 8 parts. To get you rolling, check out part 1. You'll get a good idea as to why it was as ground breaking as it was, and when you get towards the end of this clip, you'll see for yourself why it caused such a ruckus in its day.

It still holds up as objectionable, so consider yourselves forewarned.
