The emerging frontier in the battle for an animated audience is... toddlers!

Did you know that little kids between the ages of 2 and 5 spend an average of more than 32 hours a week in front of a TV set? According to the Wall Street Journal, that is indeed the case.

And both Viacom (Nickelodeon) and The Disney Company are fighting for this all important demographic. One believes they should spend that time learning something, the other believes they should primarily be entertained.
