Single mom - pay $1.5 mil music infringement or feed kids?

A single mother has been singled out by the music industry for copyright infringement in sharing music online. Ordered to pay $1.5 million dollars by the court, but she ain't got it, and she's got children that need to eat.

I have to say whenever I hear stories like this it makes me think...and then what I think is this...the only thing I think destroyed the music industry is...the music industry. not the Musicians, not the fans, not the mothers that download music for their kids or whatever the story is...nope, the industry ate itself.
