'The Tale Of The Seas' - Yoram Benz

There's a personal project in the works from award winning animation director and designer Yoram Benz of One Eyed Robot. It's called "The Tale Of The Seas" and is heading towards a 68 minute full length animated feature film once it reaches its fruition. The movie is about a coming-of-age fantasy following a mysterious sea creature that washes up on the shores of an isolated fishing village.

It’s a passion project in the light of a new breed of low budget animated features. Something between traditional animation and digital puppetry. A truly independent project that Yoram is working to bringing to life with a small crew of talented and like minded individuals.

For the past couple of years he's been working on developing the story, fleshing out the script, and painstakingly building the visual world of the movie, leading up to a first peek at The Tale Of The Seas in the form of a trailer.

The plan is to eventually set up a fundraising campaign in light of developing awareness about the project. So here we are at AN to help spread the word! :)

You can follow the progress of The Tale Of The Seas at the project's dedicated site, on Facebook and also on the studio's site.

Take a look at the trailer and see how things are shaping up...
