Postby Charles » Tue Jun 10, 2014 12:17 am

Everything has its glory and golden age and then things change and it's over and a new direction starts.

That is certainly the case with rap music as we've known it. At least commercially, it is becoming a non-issue. Rap music have been almost non-existent on the charts while sales of other forms of music are growing including country and classic rock and pop, heavy rock, R&B. Check out this article...

It's a shame the mainstream was never exposed to good rap music. There's so much out there that are solid albums and arrangements. Cats who are actually saying something.

I'm happy there is a push for my conscious music. Whatever the genre.
