SynFig - Open Source Software for 2D Animation

Postby Charles » Mon Dec 30, 2013 1:05 pm

Synfig Studio is free and open-source 2D animation software, designed as a powerful industrial-strength solution for creating film-quality animation using vector and bitmap artwork. It eliminates the need to create animation frame-by frame, allowing you to produce 2D animation of a higher quality with fewer people and resources.

Synfig Studio is available for Windows, Linux and MacOS X.

There's an Indiegogo campaign in progress to improve it.

It's in its last days of the campaign so check it out and consider giving it your support.

The latest version of Synfig is available for download from here...
