Superman kickin' ass

Well the new Superman movie is rocketing up the charts and shows again the power of comic books in today's Hollywood kingdom.

All of us who have worked in comics saw this day coming and now you're looking at the top two comics companies dominating the top ten and top 20 movies of all time. Marvel of course leads off with its Avengers and Iron Man properties and now DC has its Batman and Superman properties in the mix.

Comics dominate Hollywood and that is pissing lots of people off. For animation this means more animated television fare and Disney had better let loose on some, not an avalanche of animated Marvel fare done in house. None of that outsourcing crap. Can you imagine if Disney hit Marvel with classic Disney style animation? It couldn't get cooler. They would totally rule.

Anyhow, DC Comics has regained its honor for now unless they do the typical DC Comics multiple suits adding their two cents into the creative team thing and screw up again.

DC Comics, bring on Wonder Woman!
