Considering self-publishing my first color comic. Any tips?

Couldn't have picked a worse time due to finances, but I am the guest artist at the Charles Schultz museum in the Bay Area July 15, and would like to have something on the table.

Which company do you suggest?

Here's a link to it in webcomic form.

I'd love to just give them this. It's 16 or 22 pages color maybe? If I print just 20 books, that's fine. Any idea on costs?

Hopefully a month is enough time.

If a comic isn't feasible, maybe I should have a laptop showing this:

Just trying to figure out what to do at the event.

Thanks for any responses!

If it's to have printed material available in time for your presentation a local printer can get some ashcan books out for you at a fairly reasonable cost I'm sure.

You can check online print on demand resources like Lulu.com but I think you may be better off finding someone in your vicinity. A Google search will find just about anything you're looking for in that regard.

Good luck Jeff. Sounds like you'll be having fun at the museum.

So taking digital or physical art to a place offline: a print shop or photocopy place.

I'll look into that. Thanks for the tip.

Take a flash drive with your digital files to any printer and they'll be able to do the job for you. Call around for pricing and for technical specifications. They'll most likely have to be pdf files at 300 dpi and you'll have to number the files as each page. That should do it. Good luck Jeff and have fun.
