Academy Video - Essential Creative Productivity

Postby Charles » Tue Mar 05, 2013 1:22 am

Hi folks.

In addition to the videos I've been recording through AN which by the way have become a lot of fun for me, I also intend on creating ones for educational purposes through my school The Animation Academy in Burbank.

This is the first. The subject I chose to begin with and focus on is "Creative Productivity". It's something that I emphasize with my students on a regular basis. I feel it's the foundation of artistic progress. Developing the discipline to create every day. And as much as one would think that it's a given that students will embrace the concept of making time to create, through my many years of experience I find that is not necessarily the case. Students often drift from this essential aspect of their education and need to be reminded of how important it is to their art and career. Thus I decided to make this subject the lead topic for videos that are to follow.

I haven't featured it through the Academy's venues yet. I hope you like it and I welcome your input.
