'Angry Birds' series coming to the Web March 16 2013

Wait a minute! Aren't popular characters supposed to head straight to TV as their own series?

Not any more!

The "Angry Birds' video game franchise from Rovio is going to the Web instead.

Do you think it will be successful? How can an animated series make it if it's not on television.

Well, the trailer for the series is on YouTube and in the course of one day it has garnered 520,253 views.

I think it will do just fine.
