NISTAR - Superhero for kids with cancer indiegogo campaign

With a modest crowdfunding goal of $15,000 the NISTAR campaign on indiegogo has quickly reached its goal and is surpassing it with 36 days to go until the March 12 2013 deadline.

Currently it's at $15,090 through 114 backers.

NISTAR is a graphic novel about a superhero for children with cancer. It's the effort of Shira Frimer whose husband was diagnosed with cancer and died at a very young age.

The artistic talent behind the grahic novel is Josef Rubinstein who's a veteran of the comics industry. Together with Shira they're attempting to improve the lives of kids with cancer by creating a superhero just for them.
