FlipBooKit - Another Kickstarter $ucce$$ story

I am fascinated by crowdfunding and what this new phenomenon means for many creative individuals the world over.

Here's a great example of just how effective it can be in bringing products and ideas to market by establishing a direct connection between the source and the end user.

This is called the FlipBooKit. It's name literally says it. A flip book kit. This contraption can flip individual images into scenes either by hand or through an automated process.

They were aiming for $5000 to help finish the product and get it out the door. They wound up with $120,510 through 1,679 backers with 6 days yet to go.
