Touchable HologramsThis should be interesting. Holograms you can touch? That could change a lot of how we interact with life and each other.
Well, there is also the theory that life as we know it is a 3D hologram projected from a very distant 2D source somewhere out at the edge of the universe, so maybe we're just creating a smaller local version of what reality actually is. -------------------------------------------------- Japanese Scientists Create Touchable Holograms
Re: Touchable HologramsSpeaking of holograms, I was aware of this yesterday and planned on posting it on the forums. I was looking for info as to what it pertained to since it was new on YouTube and getting a lot of views.

Digital Domain Reunites Holographic 2Pac By Dan Sarto Tuesday, April 17, 2012 VENICE, California - During their sold-out set at the Coachella Valley Music Festival, headliners Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg wowed fans when they were joined onstage by Tupac Shakur via a holographic projection. This incredibly realistic likeness of 2Pac was created by Hollywood vfx studio Digital Domain, and reunited the legends in an exclusive, original performance of “Hail Mary” and “2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted.” “Virtual” 2Pac is the vision of Dr. Dre, who, with Philip Atwell of Geronimo Productions and Dylan Brown of The Yard, worked with Digital Domain to create this exclusive performance for fans. Digital Domain created the Academy Award-winning CG likeness of Brad Pitt for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, and of Jeff Bridges for TRON: Legacy, Kevin Bacon for X-Men: First Class, Rooney Mara for The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and others.
