Fractured Flickers - Jay Ward's animated opening

In the early 1960s there was a show produced for TV called "Fractured Flickers". It was funny at the time for its irreverent, off the wall humor. It involved taking footage from old movies, mostly silent films, and dubbing in dialogue to suit a story the writers would make up around it.

It was hosted by Hans Conried and produced by the saem folks who brought us Rocky and Bullwinkle, namely Jay Ward, who animated the opening of the show and the closing credits.

Fractured Flickers came to mind the other day and after a YouTube search, lo and behold, I found video of the animated opening as well as some of the content of the show itself.
