Toy Story 3 also won the Oscar for Achievement in Music Written for Motion Picture (Original Song): "We Belong Together" by Randy Newman.

It's interesting to see which way the Academy voted. It was really a contest between How To Train Your Dragon and Toy Story 3.

As it was two years ago, with Kung Fu Panda sweeping the Annies but losing the big boy to Wall-E, we get an idea as to how the two camps line up.

The Annies, dominated by a heavy DreamWorks vote, sponsored by ASIFA-Hollywood which has it's obvious problems rooted within their board of directors...

And the Academy Awards.

How will this play out for Disney Pixar? They boycotted this year's Annie Awards, and yet they wind up with the Oscar instead.

Think that they'll be lamenting the loss of the Annie?

Which would you rather have? The Oscar or the Annie?

I felt HTTYD was worthy of this year's Oscar, and I would've been happy to see it win.
