Came out in the 1982. Produced by Rankin/Bass, it was a fairly popular film, and was released at a time when there wasn't nearly as much activity in feature animation as there is today.

Back when multi-plane cameras were still the rage, and animation cels were painted by hand, and Photoshop was a place to get your pictures developed, there was The Last Unicorn...

I remember that as a kid, along with the Hobbit and of course the endless list of famous Christmas stuff. All awesome. Only thing that I didn't like was the Lord of the Rings adaptation. Or maybe that was another studio that did that?

This surely brings back nostalgia. I'd watch this as a kid because I was completely enamored with the character design.
