The Guild's blog provides a report that Fox Animation Studios is developing Ferdinand the Bull as a feature film.

It was produced as a short by Disney in 1938 and plans call for a full length movie for the big screen.

Carlos Saldanha, the director on all three Ice Age movies and on the forthcoming Rio is slated to direct it.

Read all about it.

Remember the Disney film? It won an Oscar.

It'll be interesting to see what Blue Sky does with it.

I love the book, beautiful artwork and great story. I hope that they don't mess it up by adding a bunch of extra stuff.
