Apparently, they are, according to a recent article in Fortune Magazine which rates them as the 10th best company to work for.

And if you're a typical anonymous animation commentor in an industry blog, you'd probably say something like... it figures they'd be way down on the list.

Actually, DreamWorks is that good a company to work for. From the experiences I've had with them to the feedback I get from friends and acquaintances that are employed at the studio, if you're working at DreamWorks you've probably got a terrific job in animation and are very happy about being there.

And it reflects in their content as well. DreamWorks movies have been getting better and better. And they have plans for intriguing movies well into the future.

One of the items of interest that came my way a few months ago was ever increasing news of Disney artists looking to jump ship to DreamWorks.

Maybe the executives at Disney should take notice.

Maybe the executives in all of animation should take notice.

Maybe that's expecting too much of them.

Did you know the company has plans for an on sight studio medical clinic?

In any case, it's great to see DreamWorks getting the recognition it deserves on a national corporate scale.

And if being a great company to work for is not enough, their campus sure is purty... ... ight#p2148
