Goose Flying TestHello All!
I'm working on a new 2D video and came across a scene in which I have to make a goose fly. I've never really anything like it before so I made a test first. Could you take a look and give me some feed back before I continue animating the scene? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ws43z...ature=youtu.be Please leave lots of feedback! Thanks! __________________ Lee Witz Cartoonyanimator 97leewitz@gmail.com

Re: Goose Flying TestHere's your video...
Try it again. Rethink the staging and anticipate the action. Staging and anticipation are principles of animation. This video will help explain...
Re: Goose Flying TestThe issue I see is that he just takes right off into the air with no anticipation. He should squash down into the water a bit before using all the effort for takeoff, and then his legs should probably be the last thing coming out of the water.
This might be helpful for once he gets going: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GEP-KgJkYnw Good luck with it!! Animator Island: A resource for animators featuring weekly tips, tricks, and secrets of animation
