I am having trouble uploading pictures

hello everyone I am having trouble posting my art all of them are over the 256 kbs limet even my partcials and black and white ones. I know there is a way to shrin them a little more however I don't know how. I really do feel getting my artwork out there will help me however I can't if I can't post them. any suggestions
