Fans to the rescue

Just as David Miller's beloved memoir Blue Like Jazz was slated to begin its big-screen adaptation, the project lost its funding. But a few lousy producers couldn't keep the film from being shot. In just over a week, Save Blue Like Jazz has raised more than $125,000 from over a thousand backers, each determined to see the film become a reality. An awesome display of fan-power.

An iPhone Steadicam

After realizing that the iPhone 4 was the best camera they'd ever owned, designers Dan Provost and Tom Gerhardt knew they needed to find a way to unlock its creative potential. After months of design iterations they arrived at Glif, an elegant device that's both a tripod mount and stand for the iPhone. In just three days, they've already sold more than 2,500.

An adventure continues

Fans are ecstatic that Jeremy Bastian is finally releasing his comic series Cursed Pirate Girl in a single edition. Three years in the making, the story follows a young girl's high seas adventures as she searches for her missing father. This collector's favorite features Jeremy's signature pen-and-ink style artwork, beautiful hand-stamped copies, and other limited edition delights.
