MPC and Jack Black kick us off with a campy take on "Gulliver's Travels" for Orange, Sway choreograph 317 CG Mini's into a mind-bending street chase, Noah Harris and The Mill London conjure a mad mix of stop motion and CG for Brother printers, Buf wrangle a Buzby Berkley-inspired menagerie for Optus, and Sao Paulo's Tribbo Post grab some quality face time for Twix. Paris studio Mikros Image blast us into the broadcast and title design section with a complex and powerful open for the Canal+ mini-series "Carlos", Australian director Helen Clemens illuminates the world of films for the SBS network while the Fuel network pushes promotional boundaries with fun and eclectic new work from Brand New School, Justin Harder, and Royale. Meanwhile on a more thought-provoking plane, Liverpool creative studio Uniform erects a cool architectural simulation for the proposed Hermitage Plaza in Paris and Oslo's Racecar demystifies the international carbon trading scheme. Stash 73 also packs a full range of music videos including: Green Day "21st Century Breakdown" by Laundry!, The Chameleon "Lyrical Spread" by UK director Ian Robertson, Benga "Baltimore Clap" by Kristofer Strom and Blinkink, Losers "Flush" by Tom Weber, Vadoinmessico "In Spain" directed by Kent Hugo out of London, and four promo's for Impactist's "Last Heist" EP. That brings us back to adland, including our cover project for Baskin-Robbins from the character fanatics at Nathan Love in NY, the LG "Brilliant Together" branded video from Sophie Gateau and the Paranoid Design Studio, the Camper "Waterproof" viral by Madrid studio Ink Apache, the Schweppes "Spring Fever" spot from Psyop, and the dynamic new Scion :60 from Sway and Imaginary Forces. Of course Stash 73 also delivers a major serving of inspirational short films.
