Location: Downtown Toronto – onsite (service companies need not apply)

March Entertainment is looking for an internal, hands-on and highly motivated New Media Production Manager with the creative ability to meet deadlines and keep production within schedule and budget.

Requirements
• Strong understanding of the game development process, its requirements, and understanding of how to transform requirements into a final product
• At least two years’ production management experience with games and/or online games, including planning and tracking software development projects
• Effective communicator with strong people skills
• Experience managing teams/people with varying technical and creative skill sets
• Ability to organize and motivate others in a highly creative team
• Excellent multitasking, planning, and organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure in an organized, productive manner
• Strong understanding of productivity and project management
• A love for compelling, online games and a desire to create fully realized gaming experiences for a wide, public audience
• Personnel development experience and familiarity with game development/design tools would be a definite plus

As Online Production Project Manager, you will be responsible, but not limited to, the following:
• Internally communicate and correspond with project team members and management
• Provide weekly updates to Producer
• Ensure all areas in development and design meet schedule and quality requirements
• Create timelines for schedule
• Create and update micro schedules as needed
• Develop processes to ensure efficiency within each production area

Asset Management
• Create and manage game production asset lists
• Communicate and facilitate Design asset requirements and delivery between Design and Development
• Facilitate Design and Development production meetings
• Ensure proper management and storage of production assets

Development/Design Team Human Resources
• Track punctuality and time off requests
• Facilitate design staff meetings
• Complete staff assessments
