Job Description

Responsible for developing and delivering technical and artistic training curriculum to DreamWorks Animation employees worldwide.

Job responsibilities:

Initiate strategies with production executives to meet the digital training and artistic development needs of the studio globally.
Direct internal and external resources in preparing, scheduling, and facilitating production and technology training strategy.
Responsible for Change Management activities related to education and learning methodologies at the studio.

Hire, develop and manage Training and Artistic Development staff.
Responsible for DreamWorks Education¹s yearly operating budget.
Design curriculum and deliver classes to continuously increase skills and collaborative ability of the studio¹s mixed artistic, technical and management staff.
Maintain a culture of innovation through focused programs for new hires and broad development opportunities for all employees.
Desired Skills & Experience

Understanding and experience delivering technical training and artistic development programs to an international workforce.
Strategic thinker with a passion for education and teaching.
Understanding of the animation production process is preferred.
Ability to partner with artists, engineers, administrators and production executives to deliver effective training strategies.
Strong communication, leadership and management skills.
Change management experience preferred.
Ability to interact with executive leadership and manage cohesive teams.
Entertainment or Software industry experience strongly preferred.
