Our very special guest on Saturday, April 24, 2012 will be Michael Torbiak from Jimmy Kimmel LIVE! Michael is currently casting for parts, and is always looking for new VO talent. He has decided one of the best ways to find fresh voices is to come to our class. This may turn into a "standing room" only event so be sure and reserve your space now!
The show casts actors on a daily basis for on camera work and voiceovers. Torbiak works closely with KIMMEL’s writers and directors to cast bits for the show’s monologue and pre-taped segments. 50 percent, if not more, of the talent hired on a weekly basis is solely voiceover actors. JKL uses VO’s in pre taped comedy segments, pre existing footage, sound a likes, as well as for graphic pieces they build in house.
Michael Torbiak has been discovering new talent and working with some of the top names in film and TV at MTV, BRAVO and E! for nearly a decade, for two years now casting the comedy segments on ABC's JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE!
