March Entertainment is looking for an enthusiastic, highly focused, and hands-on Game Developer with the creative ability to actively participate in game technical development through the process of creating a multifaceted, social web experience with integrated online events and games.

Requirements:

* Solid understanding of the game development process, its requirements, and the creative ability to transform requirements into deliverables
* 2+ years of professional Flash game development experience, including understanding of technical needs analysis
* 2+ years of professional job experience producing Flash & ActionScript based interactive content
* Intermediate level knowledge of Flash, ActionScript 3.0, and OO programming with design patterns
* HTML, PHP and Web user interface design and development
* Motivated and effective communicator
* Ability to work under pressure in an organized, productive manner
* Excellent attention to detail
* Ability to follow standards and practices
* Ability to interface well with Flash/traditional graphic designers
* A love for compelling online games and a desire to create fully realized gaming experiences for a wide, public audience

As Flash Game Developer, you will be responsible, but not limited to, the following:

* Participate in technical development and implementation of all game functionality
* Ensure game code is written to meet or exceed technical quality requirements and desired player experience
* Follow best practices
* Follow and update micro schedules for game technical development to ensure deadlines are met
* Follow processes to ensure efficiency of game code
* Follow processes to ensure robustness of game code

Bonus skills:

* Drupal development and administration
* Strong, hands-on familiarity in utilizing existing game engines
* Strong database theory, design, and development experience (including SQL)
* Knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator
