James Baxter Draws

I was always very impressed with the 2002 DreamWorks feature film 'Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron'. It had by far the best horse animation that I've ever seen in animated movie, hand drawn no less.

I found this on YouTube. It's the lead animator of Spirit, James Baxter, showing us how he draws the character. It's interesting to see his process and helpful to see one of the greatest animators of our time sketching out this character and explaining the anatomy of a horse as well.
