Along with coordinating the Animation Program at Philadelphia University, Geoffrey Beatty is also pursuing a graduate degree in Interactive Design. He just handed in the final project for his most recent class.
It's called "Motion Explorer," a unique tool that you can't find anywhere else. It started out as a desire to give his animation students a way to examine motion in detail, to take a closer analytical look at all sorts of movement that surrounds us every day.

Geoffrey is still developing this and expanding the number of videos, but you get a good idea as to where this is going.
Take a moment to go through it. Watch the videos frame by frame, you can even draw on them. A Wacom tablet or a Cintiq is recommended for then full experience. Let Geoffrey know what's working, what's not if you would be so kind. Your input is valued. He plans to introduce Motion Explorer to animation students everywhere so that they can use it for real assignments, as well as a resource for professionals.
