Terry Gilliam explains his processIf you're familiar with the animation of Terry Gilliam of Monty Python fame, you'll appreciate this video in which he describes the process by which he creates his films.
It's from the 1970s, way before the advent of digital animation technology, and even though he's using a technique which was intended to speed up his animation, it was still very labor intensive compared to what can be done today using a computer and software that emulates the very same approach. Check it out and compare his ideas at the time to what can be done today with Flash animation.
Re: Terry Gilliam explains his processYesterday I posted this video on AN's homepage. Today, I noticed that it's being posted it on other blogs. Interesting.
Re: Terry Gilliam explains his processWell folks, looks like this is going viral as a few animation sites are now posting the video.
Maybe there's something to our new homepage as it seems that content is being picked up from there once it's been featured. Has me rethinking things.
