Walt Disney explains the Multiplane Camera

It was the hieight of animation technology at one time. Now it's been replaced by a digital production technology so advanced and so much more efficient it would've boggled even Walt Disney's imagination.

Still, for its day, it was a marvel to behold.

Here's the man himself describing the multiplane camera.
