Heh. When I was in grade school, we were taught, from materials supplied by industry and the local water utility, that fluoridation was one of the greatest things ever done for the US public, and those who challenged it were dangerously misinformed potential enemies of the state. At the same time, my elderly neighbors railed against fluoridation as a plot to poison the water supply. Looks like the codgers had it right...
