Here's a million dollar picture. On second thought, make that a multi-billion dollar picture.
It was sent to me by a friend recently with a note that "These people waited close to ten years to get the required funding to write the Windows code."
Regardless of how one may feel about Microsoft, the success of the endeavor launched by these people boggles the imagination.
The moral of the story goes, if you've got a good thing going and you've got people who believe in the dream, be patient, persevere, be productive and stick with it. Sooner of later the "gates" will open for ya.

I think they look like a real fun bunch. They look like the kind of guys that'd have an interesting sense of humour.

I know he's a billionaire tyrant now, but it's pretty hard to hate the guy. Especially what with the massive extent of his philanthropic work. I guess I could curse him every time I have windows trouble though.
