Only a week to go before the June 9 nationwide theatrical release of the highly anticipated feature "Cars" from Disney Pixar.

More than $90 mil: 22% (8)
$66 - 70 mil: 16% (6)
$76 - 80 mil: 16% (6)
$61 - 65 mil: 14% (5)
$71 - 75 mil: 8% (3)
$86 - 90 mil: 8% (3)
$81 - 85 mil: 5% (2)
Less than $50 mil: 5% (2)
$51 - 55 mil: 3% (1)
$56 - 60 mil: 3% (1)
The projections are heavy towards the upper ranges. We'll see what the results are in a couple of days and compare.

The final tally for opening weekend BO according to the weekend actuals from www.boxofficemojo.com looks to be $60,119,509. Almost triple what the second place film did.
