March Entertainment is looking for an internal, hands-on and highly motivated New Media Production Manager with the creative ability to meet deadlines and keep production within schedule and budget.
Requirements Strong understanding of the game development process, its requirements, and understanding of how to transform requirements into a final product At least two years production management experience with games and/or online games, including planning and tracking software development projects Effective communicator with strong people skills Experience managing teams/people with varying technical and creative skill sets Ability to organize and motivate others in a highly creative team Excellent multitasking, planning, and organizational skills Ability to work under pressure in an organized, productive manner Strong understanding of productivity and project management A love for compelling, online games and a desire to create fully realized gaming experiences for a wide, public audience Personnel development experience and familiarity with game development/design tools would be a definite plus
As Online Production Project Manager, you will be responsible, but not limited to, the following: Internally communicate and correspond with project team members and management Provide weekly updates to Producer Ensure all areas in development and design meet schedule and quality requirements Create timelines for schedule Create and update micro schedules as needed Develop processes to ensure efficiency within each production area
Asset Management Create and manage game production asset lists Communicate and facilitate Design asset requirements and delivery between Design and Development Facilitate Design and Development production meetings Ensure proper management and storage of production assets
Development/Design Team Human Resources Track punctuality and time off requests Facilitate design staff meetings Complete staff assessments
