After success at this year's Annie Awards on Saturday 'Ratatouille' went on to win the British Academy Award for Best Animated Film. It beat off competition from 'Shrek the Third' and 'The Simpsons Movie' ('Persepolis' isn't released in the UK until March).
'The Pearce Sisters', by Jo Allen and Luis Cook (Aardman) won in the Short Animation Category.
'The Golden Compass' took the award for Special Visual Effects, 'Atonement' won in Production Design and 'No Country For Old Men' won in Cinematography.
