Hey guys, just noticed this trailer for Dreamworks' Kung Fu Panda is up in quicktime format. I really like the design and animation in this. Very appealing. Hopefully the story holds up as well, but visually, this really does it for me. Good job DW.

Beautiful.
I love the character design.
Sadly, I don't have high hopes for the story... (Dreamworks just hasn't done it for me over the years). But hey, I'll try to be optomistic because it looks so cool.

Aside from a few cool character designs, the trailer simply echoes the Dreamworks line of films that have little story. Can't imagine that this one will be any different. And some of the environments feel too sparce and my eyes are drawn to the paintings dropped into some of the shots. Not good.

I don't even care if there is a story or not, I just love the designs and animation. Very cool.
Kudos to whoever designed these characters and the animators who seem to have outdone themselves. Cheers.

I have to agree that the design and animation work is excellent. I just wish that Dreamworks' marketing department could have come up with different music for the trailer. I think it's helped give folks an excuse to call the film on originality issues.
I look forward to it and hope to see it when it comes out.

I'm not eager for any animated film to fail and the more jobs out there the better for everyone, but when a Dreamworks picture starts to tell a smart story not filled with half-baked nosing picking jokes, then I'll stop complaining.
