I don't know curious George, so I don't know what it's "supposed to look like", but I kinda like it. It looks nice.
He does look like Bob Saget, though.

George looks cute and that's good enough to carry the film. Too bad they couldn't keep the button eyes used in the books but they probably thought the traditional 'animation eyes' looked more expressive.

Yeah, it actually takes alot away from George when he doesn't have the button eyes. Those eyes give him alot of his personality.

Best not to base too much opinion on what we've seen here and on the other thread.
I actually really like what I've seen so far, too;but from what I understand, these images are publicity stills that were created last fall, and since then the designs have evolved somewhat .
If you think what has been posted is cute and appealing..what they've got going now is probably even more so!

this is a shout out too a banging ,kickbutt design....keep it up guys .inspite of the negative post and blindness ....and another thing .im sure alot of you will be suprised when the movie comes out.....i dont know what the story is like ? but i promise. it will look good .
