Here is some intresting info on the creation of the Pink Panther character and shorts.

I herd a rumor that the studio that created the animation for the Mr.Bean animated series is going to do a new Pink Panther series based on the artwork and designs of the pop-artist "Shag"
I think the studio is Varga in Hungary.

Aw but it isn't the inspector fron the Depaite-Freleng Series, it's the little Peter Sellers caricature from the movie titles. What's with that? All the others are from the TV shows/shorts.
